Meet Maverick!
Born: Approximately June 25, 2025
Weight: 9lbs at last weigh in
This poor boy was dangling by his back leg from the top of my wooden fence. I don’t know how he got his leg wedged between the boards but it was in there very tight. After both of us freaking out, I was able to get him loose and bring him inside to check out his leg. After a trip to the vet and to the urgent care around the corner (for me since I he got me good when I was detaching him) he now has a clean bill of health as far as his leg is concerned.
He warmed up to meet very quickly after I brought him in. This after scratching and biting while I was trying to get him off the fence. LOL. I can’t blame him. It was very stressful for both of us. He has become such a cutie and plays like a nutball.
Maverick desperately needs testing and to be neutered before he can be adopted, but right now I simply donโt have the funds to make that happen. If you can help out with the vet expenses or supplies, it would be greatly appreciated.
