In The Beginning…
GG (Goofy Girl) is 22 years old! This little girl came to me when she was a year old and unknown to me, pregnant! She was a feral kitten who was hanging out with one of my coworkers in his garage, playing and socializing with him. He couldn’t keep her because he already had two older cats, so she came to me. At the time, I did not have a cat living with me. So, it was just me and G. When I took her to get her spayed, turned out she was actually pregnant with kittens, however, the vet clinic did not bother to tell me this before they did the surgery, so they aborted the kittens.

Life Together
GG and I have been through a lot of life together and she is my best girl. We’ve lived in Houston, Dallas, and Katy. We’ve been through too much death with human family members and feline family members and MUCH LIFE! She has always been the boss of everyone, even though she has never weighed more than 7lbs. She is currently a little over 5lbs and still kicking. She has slowed down a bit and went deaf several years ago, not that it slowed her down at all. And through everything, she is still the BOSS! LOL.
Tooth Abscess
GG has not had many health issues in her 22 years, however, lately, she has had issues with a tooth abscess that has reoccurred twice now and I’ve had to take her to the vet for antibiotics. Due to her age, it is unorthodox to pull the tooth because of the anesthesia. However, I am discussing options with my vet to try to do an extraction. The last time this happened which was just recently, October 2025, the abscess burst right through her cheek. She is healing up quickly though and is doing much better.

Donate
If anyone would like to donate to help GG’s medical situation so that we can hopefully get the extraction(s) done, we would greatly appreciate it. I’ve tried to stay positive about finding some steady work after my job ended a year ago, but it seems like things are just getting worse in the job market these days. I’ve had to beg, borrow and sell off my belongings just to keep the lights on and feed all the kids (kitties.) So any help would be greatly appreciated.
Also, there is a link below to an Amazon wish list if anyone would like to help with cat food and supplies. The cat food prices haven’t gone up tremendously yet, but the cat litter price keeps going up and it’s getting harder to keep the boxes filled.
